I am a unique Singer and Songwriter as I am also a Registered Nurse with over 20 years in critical care. As it happens, I am also bilingual in Spanish and English. Moreover, I was raised by my Grandmother for whom I then cared for, from age 12-29, with the last several years of her life living in a long-term care facility. All this to say, I KNOW, in my Heart, how to connect with residents. I appreciate being welcomed into, what is truly, a Resident’s Home. A place where The Heart is. My mission is to bring Joy into that space. If we’re lucky, then maybe we can even get a little physical therapy done with some toe tappin’ and hand clappin’! Or perhaps, with a few sing-a -longs, we can light up those memory centers in the brain! Can you FEEL the nurse and the singer coming through together?! PLIUS, I can do all that in Spanish too! This is what makes me unique! While I have a few original songs, which are available on all the music platforms for you to preview, I also love to perform songs by original artists such as Patsy Cline, Andrews Sisters, Peggy Lee, and Wayne Newton. Included in my song menus are also Spanish classics such as Cielito Lindo, Christmas Classics such as O Come All Ye Faithful, and timeless Spiritual Hymns such as Amazing Grace.
