Andy Masterpiece

Andy Masterpiece (he/him) is a Boulder-based trans singer/songwriter who explores alternative pop rock, soft rock, blues & jazz through singing & accompanying himself on piano and guitar. He draws on his personal experiences of religious oppression, sexual repression, homelessness & living in various gender identities to convey a dynamic emotional landscape through both covers and original work. Andy has played in an assortment of venues, such as: Junkyard Social Club (Boulder) BOCO Cider (Boulder) The Alley (Littleton) Your Mom’s House (Denver) The Center on Colfax (Denver) His primary project is putting together an album of 12 songs, called Second Impressions, largely about his journey back home to Boulder. As he develops his recordings, he's expanded to add drums, bass & electric guitar to bring a much fuller sonic experience to his songs. His intricately interwoven melodies dance with their harmonic counterparts in an evocative & playful way. He also joined the TransRomantics in 2025 as their drummer, performing at Boulder Pridefest, Longmont Pridefest & Bar 404 in Denver among others. They are currently working on releasing live recordings of one of their summer shows.
